A monthly competition open to all under-16 Judoka.

Registration: 9 - 9:45 am

Competition starts at 10 am

We usually finish 12 - 12:30 pm

Our monthly shiai takes place on Sundays.

At Ajax Budokan Judo Club:

Please pay cash on the day or pay by e-transfer to ajaxbudokanjudoclub@gmail.com including competitor's name (this email is for payments only).

We cannot take debit or credit card payments.

$25 for all athletes

Family rate: $75 for three or more immediate family members.

Members of Ajax Budokan may register at any time at the front desk.

All other competitors register upon arrival.

Every athlete must complete and sign a registration form and waiver (or their guardian). Forms will be available at the registration desk.

You can download, print off, and bring your form with you to save time if you wish. See file below.

All competitors in the monthly shiai must be full members of Judo Ontario.

The Ajax Monthly Shiai will operate under the new Judo Canada 2022-23 shiai standards (link to PDF).

White belts can compete in the Ukemi (breakfalls) and Waza (technique) competition.

All other belts can compete as per the Judo Canada standards (2022-23):

U16 boys and girls
U14 boys and girls
U12 boys and girls
U10 boys and girls (White belts in this age group may only compete in Ne-Waza competition. Yellow stripe is considered white belt)
U8 boys and girls (Boys and girls will demonstrate technical randori and breakfalls and compete in Ne-Waza competition only)
